MAY 23 NETWORK GROUP FOR PARENTS OF TEENS EXPERIENCING SOCIAL/EMOTIONAL CHALLENGES
Is thinking about your teen and the summer school vacation stressing you out? While summer’s down time can offer your child a much-needed break from the rigor of school, the change in routine and lack of structure likely creates additional concerns, especially for students struggling with social/emotional challenges. On May 23rd, 7-8:30 pm, at Brookline High School (MLK Room), B-PEN and Family Resource Advocate Hope Schroy will host a Parent Network meeting for parents whose 6th-12th grade students are experiencing social and emotional challenges, and the evening’s focus will be STRATEGIES FOR SUMMER. We will talk about activities, coping mechanisms, resources, and where you can turn if your family needs help. Please join us for this confidential, non-judgmental Parent Network gathering, which provides an opportunity for parents to connect and share with one another, learn about available resources, and discuss topics for additional meetings. For more information, contact: Hope Schroy, [email protected] |
